Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies, mostly in the horror and martial arts categories. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action movies with a morbid fascination. After getting some attention in the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) She began to review in late 2009. She remained participant on the website from January until the beginning of 2015 after which Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts: one focused on the Charmed series and the second one co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
